Welcome back!

Texas Amnesty is excited to invite everyone to our Spring Info Session on Tuesday, January 22nd at 7 p.m. in PAR 301 (notice the new room number!).   We will talk about Amnesty’s history, our upcoming campaigns for the semester, and how to be involved.  We are also excited to announce two new officer positions. We are seeking a Historian to document all of the awesome things we do and a New Member Coordinator to recruit students who are passionate about human rights! If any of this sounds like it might be of interest to you, we will hope to see you there!

About Texas Amnesty International

Amnesty International is the world's largest human rights organization and we here at UT are passionate about spreading the ideals of equality and justice. Originally founded in London in 1961, Amnesty International focuses on drawing attention to human rights abuses worldwide and starts different campaigns to promote its ideals. Whether is it big or small, it will lead to progress for the betterment of human rights.
